Doppelganger

A new member of our household arrived in the post recently. It was Lily, one of Jodie's kinder girls - I was completely elated to have won her giveaway  - I'd been eyeing these beautiful little hand-made dolls for about two years. When I opened the parcel I noticed something:

It's uncanny. They even share a taste in coats...

...and jaunty headgear (Lily's egg cosy hat by Mrs Bobo Bun).

They're inseparable. Thankyou Jodie, you have made two little girls very very happy.

A mini Miss P2 - cute!

Golly gosh Miss P2 is growing up fast and she's got style! (I love that crochet hat, but it wouldn't look half as good on me)

It is like she has a spyglass in your house! Suggest you do a spy-sweep to be sure. You know how tricksy these Australians can be ;-)

I ordered a jodie doll for Margot around two years ago...I think it makes me as happy as it does Margot...jodie's attention to detail is amazing..

I would say your little girl has a lifelong treasure in her doppelgänger ..

That's a granny square blanket, isn't it? You can't fool me. I saw it.

They are both beautiful....and the resemblance is uncanny. Lovely to see a 'proper' doll rather than a plastic one.

I hope your walk wasn't too muddy? I'm uploading my sparkly new beach photo's as we speak so I'll post them soon as my splash of colour.
Love the necklace and are her eyes really that delicious shade of blue... lucky thing!

You know, both of your girls really are magical and otherworldly. Those eyes! I think they are fairies in disguise.

Meanwhile, my magical and otherworldly five-year-old is yelling and smacking his brother. Is there room for me to relocate to your beach hut permanently???
